As you might have seen, theres a new (and first) sponsor which advertises in the sidebar. The program is called Learning SpanishLike Crazy, which tries to say that itll teach you Spanish incredibly fast. Im sorry to say that I have no experience with language learning programs (like I told here before), but I know that they can help and that Ive heard some good stories about some of the products out there (of which LSLC is one of them). Because its a new sponsor, Ill review it.
The program I reviewed was the level 1 program, but therere three programs in total with additional materials (if you decide to buy the program, you can go either for the lite version which consists of the level 1 program, and the full version which has all levels and some neat extra programs).
First impression
If you go to the website of LSLC, the first impression may be wow, that looks cheap!, and then I mean cheap in a negative way. At least, that was what I was thinking. Normally, Im not that fond of landing pages like this. Also, its a bit vague where you can buy the program and what comes with it. What you have to do is signing yourself up for the first two (free) lessons, after which you can see what the program is and what options you have if you want to buy it.
The program itself (level 1)
Where many other programs overwhelm your with information, LSLC starts relatively easy. The first lesson teaches you some personal pronouns like tú (yup, no usted to begin with, although it teaches you the general form of Latin-American Spanish). It also teaches you how to ask questions, tell something about yourself, etc. Just the simple stuff. It may look like you wont learn much, but when I fast forwarded to lesson 10, 20 and 30, I was amazed how fast you advance in level and the things you learn.
Next to the first level, there are two more (which I couldnt review, because I dont have them at the moment). If they teach you as much as the first level does, then youve got yourself a really nice program to kick-start your Spanish.
Overall rating
Its a pity that the producers of the program decided to only sell the program through affiliate marketing and use really weird and vague landing pages to do so. A big plus is that you can get a free preview (the two free lessons) after which you can decide if you want to buy one or more levels or not.

Theres a buzz going on the web about this programs for a while now. People at How-To-Learn-Any-Language.com and Amazon.com like the program in general. You should read some of their reviews as well -> check the Amazon reviews.
My opinion (thats me, Ramses)
So, do I think its good? If youre a n00b when it comes to Spanish and dont know where to start, yes. If you can stand language courses, yes. If you want to get a better understanding of the Spanish language, yes. Personally, I cant stand language courses that long, so I normally get myself some dubbed DVDs and start watching and listening. Still, considered the price you should do it anyway.
And still; if you really want to become fluent, you need massive input. A language course wont do that, but its a nice start anyway.
What it means for me
What means promoting this program for me? Im going to be honest: if you decide to buy the program, Ill earn a nice commission which brings my intercambio to Spain a step closer. That doesnt mean that I think this this program is bad and that I only want to make money off you guys.
